Unable to connect to Modbus after router change
Just migrated from Sky to Virgin and having problems with my Modbus connection, where it does not seem to be connecting to the router

For info, I renamed my new Virigin Router to the same network password and SSID as my previous router and everything WiFi wise has reconnected, including the the DataLogger, however, the only device that I cannot seem to connect is my Modbus adapter. I am able to login via browser to the adapter, can ping it on the network, but .. it is not listed in the connected devices in my router .. even tried creating a static address with the Mac address .. but still nothing

The IP address has not changed and this is also a wired connection from the Modbus adapter to the router

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Re: Unable to connect to Modbus after router change
A little update ... it now seems to be listed in my "connected devices" .. after quite a number of reboots of the router and the modbus device ... but still is showing a connection error in Home Assistant

Re: Unable to connect to Modbus after router change
Do you have a picture of your IP config from the 410s page?
Does the gateway/dns match the VM router?
I presume the current IP you have assigned is what it was beforehand?
Re: Unable to connect to Modbus after router change
Nothing was changed on the Modbus Adapter .. same IP address, everything .. nothing changed from when it was connected to the previous router. I did see a post that VM routers block the ports, so I have setup port forwarding .. and you can see from the test .. the port is open .. its makes no sense .. even the same network cable and connection was used
