Hv2600 and 2x EP 12's
I currently have 8 x 2600 batteries controlled by a H1 5kw gen 1 inverter. I am considering changing the gen 1 inverter to a gen 2 and adding an additional 5kw H1 gen2 inverter and two EP12 batteries and running to two inverters in parallel. There will be a appropriate 3kw imbalance, will this cause any issues?
Re: Hv2600 and 2x EP 12's
It wants 2 battery stacks of equal type and capacity, and whilst your capacity is close you will have ageing to consider as well.

I have heard people have configured the system with slightly different battery stacks and it works, but also heard that in for every day use they can struggle with imbalance when using different sizes/type with their differing charge/discharge rates.

There is still a strong after sales market for the HV2600's, I would recommend that you switch entirely to the EP12's and sell the HV's

Thank you. I think I will give it ago first and then change if it does causes a problem. I was hoping to reduce the maximum charge % in the EP inverter so that the capacity matched HV2600 stack

TBH that’s exactly what I would do :)
