Re: Dual Inverters

This reduces the maximum number of batteries I can attach, but it's probably enough, and if it isn't, KH10s are designed to work in paralllel, so I'll still have a way to expand if necessary.
Glad to see you got sorted, that's a great result.

Unfortunately as you've discovered, installers often don't have a lot of knowledge with more than one inverter. I too have had incorrect schematics, they forgot to install the second generation meter and they couldn't seem to tell me if a CT clamp was fitted between the inverters (it is). I'm setup pretty much now, but still wish I'd have gone for the KH option, but that's in hindsight now!
Re: Dual Inverters
Hi guys, the house I purchased came with 8 solar panels ~3.25kW and a FOX S-3000 inverter. I've added a FOX Hybrid H1-G2 5kWh inverter and a EP12 battery. The new inverter has 2 CT clamp so 1 is showing the PV generation as Gen Load. Should I add the original inverter to the app?

My concern is to cause confusion because now its working well.

If the S-3000 has a dongle then you can add it to the app, but it won't affect what is reported with the H1-G2. On mine, it just had two "plants" with the same name and I could flick between them to see what rach inverter was doing. The string inverter with the panels attached won't show much other than current pv power and daily generation unless it has its own CT clamp.
