H3-Pro-20 capped at 17 kW during Force Charge — anyone else?
Hey all,
Just had a new H3-Pro-20 + CQ6-L8 installed and noticed during Force Charge from grid it's capping at 17.1 kW. Was expecting closer to 20 kW given the inverter's rating.
Setup:

H3-Pro-20, CQ6-L8 (48 kWh)
3-phase, AusNet
Max Chg Cur confirmed at 50A on the LCD
Battery at ~50% SOC when observed
Force Charge via Mode Scheduler

17.1 kW works out to almost exactly 25A × 230V × 3 phases — which is the H3-Pro-15's rated output, not the 20. Looks a lot like a firmware default or ImportLimitCur value stuck at the wrong SKU.
A few questions for anyone running the same or similar:

What charge rate are you seeing on H3-Pro-20 with a CQ6 stack? Hitting nameplate, or also capped?
Anyone had FoxESS push a firmware update that unlocked higher charge rates?
Is there an installer-level setting I should ask them to check beyond the obvious ones?

I've emailed FoxESS AU support about it. Thought I'd ask here in case anyone's hit the same wall.
Cheers

What firmware are you running on your H3 Pro?

If you DL the latest Au data sheet you will see a new footnote.
[3] Charge/discharge power limit is 17kW.

On the older data sheet footnote [3] was not present.

There is still a dirty big circle on the first page proclaiming 'up to 30kW charge/discharge'.

This is now clearly false advertising.
It has crippled any inverter over 17kW.
Re: H3-Pro-20 capped at 17 kW during Force Charge — anyone else?
According to Leo Ye (Head of Product at Fox Au) yesterday on Au Facebook FoxESS owners gp, the new firmware Master 2.02 and Manager 2.01 (released a couple of days ago) for the H3 Pro has had the 17kW bottleneck increased to 25kW.

So this would suggest it is some problem they are having with firmware. FoxESS need to fix this. They are currently being hammered on various social media for their poor customer service and their stuff ups.

Additional:
Dunno if my bitching on various social media was noticed but someone just now upgraded my H3 Pro Inverter to Master 2.02 and Manager 2.01. Will have to see if this has upped the 17kW bottleneck to 25kW.

Thanks alot for this information.

Coincidentally they upgraded mine last night to thiese code levels and during the reboot, though I am on EPS, I briefly lost power..

Is someone watching these threads.. As I wil whinging fairly hard on another forum about this.

I am doing a force charge in 20 or so minutes.. Will be interested to know how it goes.
