I just noticed that the KH10 inverter manager firmware 1.60 is available. I am currently on 1.58.
Where can I find what has changed from 1.58 to 1.60 of the manager firmware to see if it's worth the upgarde?
Here is where you can find the FW release notes.
Just a word of caution, they are not quick in updating the list.

Very poor site. No mention of past release notes and does not have the KH Manager 1.60 release notes.
These guys have no idea about software development standard practices.

As a general rule, would it be best to keep up with the latest firmware versions for the inverter and battery?
Without any release notes you're flying blind a bit.
My inverter (KH10) manager is at 1.58 and 1.60 is available.
My battery (EQ4800) BMU is at 1.15 and 5.06 is available, BCU is at 2.015 and 2.016 is available.

It is going to depend on how risk adverse you are, and the old saying of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"
There was a recent release for the KH inverters that broke them, so it was pulled... so usually best to wait a few weeks to see what posts appear in the forum.

Well that depends on what "broke" means. I've got something that works but not quite how I want it. There are many posts with people having problems needing something else like HA to get around it. I think we are all just putting up with it.
Yes, that's a balancing point of risk vs. reward.
The best choice is to wait it out a week and keep an eye on the forum for posts regarding firmware once you know there has been a release.
We are overdue new firmwares to change the system behavior of ending a schedule when X condition is met (SoC for example)

That's the reason I was asking for the release notes to at least see when it was released.
I can't find any mention of the KH10 Manager 1.60 firmware on the site you sent.
I agree if there's no urgency waiting a few weeks is best.

I have the KH7, also wanting to see the notes.
That being said, the App is still saying that there is no update available, since they pulled them a few weeks back. I think it did appear again for a bried period, but I didn't upgrade it.

This is what I see as an Agent on the v2 website.

The fact you have an Installer/Agent level account does mean you could load the FW, and if it was bad, roll it back (in theory)
I guess if you run the FoxCloud2.0 App it does not show (if running with User level credentials)
If you login with Installer level account on the App, does it show then?
More curious, so you don't actually have to run this experiment.
