Connect to Octopus Agile

How can I best do this? Prefer not to go through HA. On the foxess cloud page there is an Octopus entry, is this what I need to use?
Do you have a screenshot? I've not seen that myself, not that I'm on the Fox Cloud website all that often.
I've not heard anything about Fox doing an integration with Octopus Agile, although clearly that would be very welcome.
All that said, for this hardware you will generally get the best results if you're trying to do anything "adventurous" by connecting to it locally using modbus over the RS485 interface, and the only mature implementations I'm aware of for doing this are in HA.

I can't see it in your Screenshot but it looks like it's just below the lower edge, I've found it in my own view now.
I entered an API key and my account number and hit test, and it's successfully retrieved my MPAN values, however I'm not sure it does much more than that just now. Fox seem to develop "in the open" so there seems to be "stubs" that might support future functionality but right now don't do anything. For example you can select "Power Station" as a work mode on the website, but no such workmode actually exists on the inverters themselves.

Hi Guys, what did you enter in the NUMBER section, everything I try fails
It needs to be your Octopus account number to work.
That said, I don't see that entering this information actually does anything (yet).

I'm an Octopus customer and have entered my API key and it seems to have linked my info - again, what this actually does at this point remains to be seen.
The 'To Bind a Device' section needs to be completed in order for me to save and exit the page - can someone help me with what this info is and where I would find it?
Thanks

Go to your account on a web page, not app, click on your account number and the next screen allows you to see your API
Thanks, found that, but the test button says invalid number, Thought that would be the MPAN, but the "?" button says "The registered number of the business."Paul Wildsmith wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 9:14 pm Go to your account on a web page, not app, click on your account number and the next screen allows you to see your API

I believe that is the serial number of the Wifi datalogger that's plugged into your inverter (with the red flashing light)The 'To Bind a Device' section needs to be completed in order for me to save and exit the page - can someone help me with what this info is and where I would find it?
Got all the boxes filled in, and the test button gets tariff details from Octopus. But when I try to update, I get "40256-Parameter could not be parsed correctly". Yet none of the boxes is marked as a problem in anyway.

I wouldn't worry about it - it doesn't do anything (other than pull your MPAN, meter SN and tariff designation into that particular view on the Fox Cloud website) anyway

Thread resurrection...
To save the details entered, after clicking 'test', one then needs to click 'edit' to save the details and then the inverter will display your tariff via the web app. It would be nice to show an overlay with different tariffs, but that doesn't appear to be the case, as I can only see my Flux tariff.
Does anyone know if Fox have fully implemented the Octopus Agile integration yet, in terms of battery charge automation?

Not quite - 2 issues remain :
1. Since the change to BST all Agile rates pulled into the Fox ESS cloud table are "out" by one hour
2. Everyone's rate table seems to have the header "East Midlands" hard coded for area, even though the rates (apart from the GMT/BST issue above) seem to be correct...
