Hi,
Last week our schedule that we had set up and was working perfectly suddenly stopped working and now I can't figure out how to fix it!
The main problem is that we can't get it to stop the battery from discharging (we have set the minsoc to 100% but it still is using the battery during the off peak hours when we would ideally like to save it...)
Has there been some software upgrade or something? The new app doesn't seem to allow us to set the mode scheduler in any detail and when we reset using the website it does not seem to stick...
We have switched off the AC isolator, then the inverter and the battery; gave it 15 minutes and switched everything back on hoping that it would resolve the issue but I'm afraid it didn't!
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Yes, there is a new app version v2.2.2, the web portal has changed, Fox ESS has been pushing out firmware updates which has caused schedule and other issues.

Thanks so much for your reply!
I can't seem to open your link.
I updated the app and the firmware so fingers crossed this should work.
Thanks again

Any error?
Unfortunately I don't think so, as the problems seem to be mostly to do with inverter/battery firmware, although the app seems to have a WiFi issue as I can't get the data logger to change WiFi networks.
After the update I can no longer change my export or import limit via quick settings in the app, getting the message;
"This setting is set by your installer, to make changes, please get in touch with them or our support team".
My app is V2.2.3, Master V1.39, Manager V1.24

Any error?you were right, it did not resolve the issue...
I updated to the following:
Version_Master:1.51
Version_Slave:1.04
Version_ARM:1.69
I just deleted some of the WAF rules in Cloudflare, let me know if it works now.
I finally got installer access and took a punt to do some upgrading, the firmware installed was already the versions causing others problems, so didn't think I had much to lose.
All battery modules were v5.04 except one that was v5.02, bit weird but must have shipped from the factory like that. Now they're all v5.05, and the BCU went from v2.010 to v2.014.
Not sure if they rebooted or not, but the house may have imported while they did.
Master/Slave section is blank for me.
thanks, we've written to Fox customer support, hopefully they can help. I find all of this so confusing!
End User accounts were never really supposed to have this access to adjust the limits.Corset6980 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2026 1:01 am After the update I can no longer change my export or import limit via quick settings in the app, getting the message;

In the UK we have strict limits so as not to damage the substation equipment.
If you must adjust settings, then you have to do it on the Inverter screen.
Not just in the UK.MaterialBarracuda48 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2026 11:14 am In the UK we have strict limits so as not to damage the substation equipment.
Pretty sure people shouldn't really be allowed to do it there either.MaterialBarracuda48 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2026 11:14 am If you must adjust settings, then you have to do it on the Inverter screen.
