Hello (new guy )
I have a 10kw inverter and a 6kw export limit per my network distributor.
I receive a premium export tariff between 5:30 and 7:30 pm each day.
I will set export limit at 6000w in quick setting.
With forced discharge work mode-
If I force discharge at 6000w, and the house load is 2kw, I will only be exporting 4kw. (missing out on income)
If I force discharge at 10kw, and the house load is 2kw,will the export limit be respected?
That is will it actually only force discharge at 8kw- 6kw to the grid and 2kw to the house?
If not, what is the best way to export at 6kw while using my spare 4kw inverter capacity for the house?
Thanks for your help
Richard
When you export power, and set a value say 6000W, then the system reads this as "Convert enough DC to make 6000W of AC"
Your export will be 6000W minus any house load.
Now if you set this as 10000W, and you have a fixed Export limit of 6000W, then your system will make what it needs up to 10000W to supply the house load and the export will never breach your hard limit of 6000W export.
So if you was needing 500W, it will make up to 6500W
If you was needing 4000W, it will make up to 10000W
If you need 6000W, it will make only 10000W limit, and export will drop to 4000W
Your export will be 6000W minus any house load.
