Hi I am installing a KH10 with 23kwhr of EQbatteries. My question is can i put the existing 5kw Sungrow inverter on the backup side of the inverter to supply solar to the battery during a blackout?
Hello,
Not recommended, if you do that, you'll find the EPS will trip with overload if you solar generates more than your house load while off grid as it can't be clipped.
If you want solar generation during a powercut you should dc couple it.
