Let's not beat around the bush. This 'new' v2.2 App is a disaster. With no release notes we don't know what has improved for us, the end user. However, there are plenty of downgrades that users have already encountered (and probably more to find in the next few days).
1) mode Scheduler lost the on/off toggles which is important for a lot of users
2) mode Scheduler ignoring min soc that is <10% and starts importing at 10% soc (manually changing work mode back to self use fixes this)
3) mode Scheduler not usable if bound to vpp
It seems the software team at Fox is intent on 'updating' things in the app that don't need fixing like the force discharge Min SOC issue and then causing more problems for more users. Judging by how long that issue has now dragged on without correction, I am now petitioning Fox to do the right thing by us and bring back the previous app version which worked (apart from the fdsoc issue). Go back to the drawing board and design it properly, TEST, and give us proper release notes before releasing it in the live environment.
I strongly echo this.
Please roll back to the earlier version until crtical operational functions are fully resolved and re-enabled.
The new app removes the user's ability to directly control their own system when it is enrolled with a VPP provider. In practice, this renders battery unusable effectively unusable unless it is completely off-board from the VPP retailer.

Agree - they need to revert to the older version until the issues are resolved
Agreed, my only real use for the app was to set the min soc, but that always required removing all mode schedules that amber had set first, so what was a fairy useless app is even more useless now.
As per my original post, more issues are being found.
1) In Mode scheduler, under Forced Discharge, the Discharging Cut off SOC cannot be set below 10% even though the slider recognizes the official "System min soc" number which in my case is 3%.
2) This has happened to me in 2 out of the last 3 days since the app upgrade. Someone else has also reported this issue on the Australian whirlpool forums. I have a 8.25kw/h forced discharge running for 2 hours each night. It has consistently drained ~45% of my 42kwh battery (8.25 * 2 / 42 = 40%. 45% ill happily accept) when doing so for the past 2 months. However 3 nights ago, it went from 62% and had to stop at 10% after 90m implying an improbable 22kwh drain (my utility provider says i only exported ~12kwh). 2 nights ago it went back to the normal 45% in 2hour drain, however last night it went from 73% to 28% in the 2 hours. My battery was at 100% only last week so rebalancing should not be the issue. It is very co-incidental that this issue started with the new App. It needs to be wound back!

Prior to the update my Battery and EV were both charging in parallel at cheap rate. Now the Battery is not charging while Ev charges. Any ideas what has changed in settings?
Possibly your import limit is set too low, but you'd need to post an image of your quick settings and scheduler to diagnose.
Indeed this app version is quite poor and a step backwards WRT usability.
What is very annoying is that there is no option not to upgrade!

The new app is not fit for purpose. I still can’t get a forced charge to 100% using the Mode Scheduler. It keeps cutting out at 85% Soc. This is set up correctly in the desktop version too. I have raised this directly with Fox and not had a response.
I have also had to cancel my forced discharge under Mode Scheduler as it ignores my set level and takes it all the way down to 10%.

On a closer look, my system has stopped my overnight forced charge from grid, and depleted the batteries below 6% SOC despite a setting to halt discharge at 10%.
I'm posting this in it's entirety from Craig Woollaston (Fox UK service director) who is asking for specific feedback on the recent app update, if you click on the photo it will expand to read it.

Feedback posted on the form. Expressed concern that the loss of ability to schedule charge of battery is a significant backward step and requested previous version reissued.
It would be interesting to know if this is iOS and Android or one or other.
Mines iOS and apart from MS toggles missing and the FSDOC and not reverting to self use which was pre 2.2 which I reported to Fox and noted here as soon as it changed, I have no issues with any setting, simultaneous grid battery charge and EV charge, scheduling grid charge of battery is working fine etc etc.
Seems bizarre that’s some users see a multitude of issues and others see very few.

The toggles are back for me within the Mode Scheduler on IOS but only accessible via Edit.
My issues have been that the forced charge has cut out at 85% soc despite being set for 100% and the forced discharge ignored my set level and dumped to 10%.
I have fed this back on the form and raised a ticket with Fox on Friday but have had no reply.
There seems to be multiple issues, not all affecting everyone, but all stemming from 2.2.
