Hello all.
I'm about to (or was about to) install an EPS BOX-SP To an exisiting solar PV system. The exisiting system has been installed about 1 year ago, and is a H1-5.0-E Hybrid inverter. Would this EPS Box be compatible with this inverter? It does say it's compatible with the G2 H series, but I'm hoping it's also compatible with the first gen? If not, does anyone know why?

I had an EPS BOX-SP fitted as part of my installation. This was last month so I'm still learning about all this stuff.
Once the current rush of firmware changes for battery heater and faster data polling settles down to something stable I would like to update my inverter/battery/data logger. I was wondering if there were any complications to the firmware update process because of the EPS Box? I know it has a data connection and didn't know if there is a possibility of it switching off power during a firmware update and bricking the hardware?
Does the EPS box itself have firmware?
