If you go back to the login page, sign up, choose Agent as the account type (you might have to use the old V1 signup process), you can use a second email address to make a new account.
The best way to "adopt" is using the App I found. Top-right menu in the app, there's an "Installer" option that basically creates a link you are supposed to share with an installer/agent to adopt your account. If you log in to your new Agent account on a PC, then visit that link, you should be able to link your End-User account (containing your inverter, battery etc) to your new Agent account.
Once you've done this, everything (firmware, normal data viewing, settings etc) can be done from your Agent account, you won't really need to log in to your end user account again.
It did take a bit of clicking around to find the right option but that's the gist.
Alternatively, if you just want to do a firmware upgrade or something, you could just ask Fox Support, they are quite responsive for simple stuff like that it seems.

I'm also interetsed in doing this. I have created an Agent account on the V1 site on a PC.
However on the top right menu of the mobile app (3 dots ...), all I see is, "Add Device", "New Home", "Edit Home", "DNSP Registration", and "Delete Home".
Where exactly do I find the "Installer" link to use on the website on a PC?

I found another way to "adopt" my system in the Agent account.
When logged in to the agent account on the V1 portal get the agent code by clicking on the person icon in the top right and select User Profile. You will then see the Agent Code which you make a note of.
Then log in to the V1 platform as the User account go to the User Profile. There is a Bind with Installer/Agent box where you enter the Agent Code and click OK. That's it. This will add your site to the Agent account and you will have more access to the site.

yep that the same way i did it and i think that thats the only way to adopt and agent. i havent see how an agent can adpot and an end user without consent.brunofabre wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 12:59 am I found another way to "adopt" my system in the Agent account.

Is an Agent different to an Installer? Does an Installer account have more access to settings?
When I adopt my system to a new Agent does it remove it from any previous agents?
I'm just wondering if my installer has now lost access to make any changes?
I presume that Fox support has an even higher level of access that can't be removed.

fox operates at up to 3 tiers, they have it documented on the site but the the end user has to be connected to an agent or installer account.
i opened an agent account and simply linked them together to enable firmware updates and inverter setting adjustments like how much the inverter pushes back, instead of a vampir 20w import am now exporting upto 20w and never import unless the battery is cold or am in a charge window.

I followed what you suggested, but I get an "Invalid Organisation ID"brunofabre wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 12:59 am I found another way to "adopt" my system in the Agent account.

The only thing I can think of is you made a mistake in the agent code. Do a cut and paste so you don't mix up 0 with O and 1 with I, and so on.
Was definitely a cut and paste .. but will try againbrunofabre wrote: ↑Thu Jan 15, 2026 11:53 am The only thing I can think of is you made a mistake in the agent code. Do a cut and paste so you don't mix up 0 with O and 1 with I, and so on.
