EV car charger control from HA Modbus
Hello,

I have inverter H1-5.0, battery EP5 and EV charger APEX-7S .
I have a Citroen car which does not natively manage the % of charge limitation.....

On HA
- I have a foxess ModBus add on
- the Citroen add-on ( but as it is unofficial, I do not know how long it will work).

So I would like to create an automation to start and stop the car throw EV charger ( like it is possible to do in the application ) depending on the car state ( connected and % of charge).
But I do not find EV charge capability on the modbus add-on (only fox battery management).

Is there a way to manage the car charger from the ADD ON or adding this capability ( as it can be done throw the Foxess app, I guess the back functionality exists.
I am not a developer expert, but still a developer and I can help if needed on the HA add on development

Thanks

Looks like someone has made an integration so you can control the car

Re: EV car charger control from HA Modbus
Thanks for you answer.

Yes this is the one I use. But as it is a non offical one, I am afraid to loose the car control at any time. Meaning I do not want to setup the charge to 80% and prefer to use an official add-on like the fox one. My idea is to use the stellantis as sensor and manage the start and stop car charge throw the fox add on which is offical

Thanks again
Have a nice day.
