Hi
I just connected my new setup about a week ago, and the inverter wont charge the battery no matter what I try.
It is a H3-pro-15.0 inverter with ECS-2900 battery, 14.4 kWh.
Since it was powered on the battery is steadily discharging and is now at about 13%, so I am getting a bit worried.....
Until earlier today the clock was off, so that could explain something, but I have tried setting "Grid charging time" several times today, but nothing happens, what should I Look at ?
Best regards
Allan
Don’t worry it won’t do any damage to the battery as when it reaches minsoc the battery will charge cycle occasionally so that it doesn’t fall below.
Your date/time must be accurate for the charge periods to work correctly, so hopefully that is now correct.
As long as you don’t have any schedules set you can use the Grid Charge Setting in Quick Settings, set the time you want it to charge, ‘Enable Charge from grid’ should be on, then click ‘Save’ at the top - then click ‘Back’, slide the toggle to on, and click ‘Submit’ - that should then start to charge at the time you set.
Will has done a comprehensive video on the various charging methods, for now it’s best not to complicate it with Schedules, just use the basic Grid Charge settings https://youtu.be/L_AC_H4TPsQ?si=m2bIr_17W9Eh474E

Just writing this so others can find it in the future.
I changed the soc yesterday to 15% to see if that would make the battery charge, but no luck.
This morning the battery was down to 9%, so I looked around in the settings to see if I overlooked something, and under BasicParameters2 there was a setting "SysOn/Off" that was set to "Off", and when I changed that to "On" things started working as expected, the battery started charging but only with 399W, but when I set a charge from grid under quick settings, it charged full power....
So if you have problems with battery charging check the "SysOnOff" parameter.

Unusual for it not to have been started, must have been left like that from install - which means it basically watches but doesn’t act on anything.
You can also ‘start’ the inverter from the front panel by pressing and holding the ‘tick (or enter)’ button 3rd from left - if it’s stopped it will say Start ?

It might have been myself that stopped it, because when it was first powered on I pressed the buttons on the front plate without knowing what I was doing, but at least now I know how to fix it.
