Hello all
Just had my Solar, Battery and Inverter installed
Inverter is a 5kw H1-5.0-E-G2-WL
Battery is EP12
I have been trying to set up the Mode Scheduler in anticipation of a new Tariff, but it was not following the schedules I set, started charging outside my set range etc.
I then noticed that the display time on the Inverter is the wrong date and time.
Would be the reason for the wrong charge/discharge times and if so how do I fix it?
Many thank
TimB
Hi,
Yes, the inverter date/time being correct is critical you can manually correct.
If it continues to drift, make sure all your firmware is up to date as older versions had an issue with the inverters time not correctly syncing with the cloud.

Yes if the time is wrong on the display the inverter won't follow schedules properly - everything the inverter does is local to it's time clock.
It's unusual for it not to be set by the Fox cloud every day - how new is your installation ?
I've seen on older installs that the datalogger appears to stop acting on the time clock updates from Fox, in that case remove the datalogger wait 10 seconds and plug it back in and that should cure it.
The time clock only updates in the early hours so you will need to set it your self for now (In Setting, Date & Time), and then keep a close eye on it as it will slowly drift by a second or two each day if it doesn't receive those time syncs from the datalogger.

Thanks for the replies
To answer some of the questions and to raise one
The system was installed on the 4 Dec 2025
The FIrmware is the following
Master 1.40
Slave 1.04
Manager 1.26
I would have expected it would have pulled the time date of a web time/date server but it has not.
How do I correct the data/time? I tried on the front panel but I got as far as it asking for a password
I can find no settings on the APP or the cloud interface.
I presume I need to contact FOX to get them to remotely update any firmware
Thanks again

Your installer can correct the date/time and remotely install the latest firmware for you.
If you want to update the date and time on your inverter, it's under settings > 0000 > date/time
I would also make sure the timezone is correct in your site's settings.

There is no settings option in the app or the cloud interface as far as I can see.
