Hi all,
I've recently (past week or so) been having issues with not being able to set charging periods using the Octopus Agile mode scheduler on both the app and the web portal.
Previously, I have been able to successfully set either the triger price or time slot mode to charge my batteries. I set the mode after the Agile prices have been updated for the next day, hit submit and get the 'success' message - checking the manual mode charging slots to confirm when charging will happen.
However, now when I try to set the charging schedule, I follow the same steps as above and get the 'success' message, but no charging periods have been set. I can manually set the charging slots.
I have been in contact with Fox UK customer support and they haven't been able to resolve the issue - the last email from them said they had 'repaired' the account, whatever that means?
Just wondering if anybody else has had a similar problem?
Thanks,
Pete
Just answering my own question
Customer support have got back to me with the following reply:
"I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. I have just checked with our R&D team, and it turns out that after the latest Octopus version update, we have been synchronizing phone models to align with their new features. For the models that have not yet been synchronized, there is a chance of failure occurring.
Our R&D team is currently accelerating the synchronization process, and I will be urging them to complete it as soon as possible, hopefully within today."
Just checked and it looks like the Agile scheduling is working again. Gotta say Customer services couldn't have been more helpful - big shout out to Alex!

Hmm, seems I spoke too soon - the app/web portal now allows me to set charging periods according to price/time slot, but it only works for the day you submit the schedule - not a lot of use as you need to submit the schedule at midnight so you can take advantage of the cheaper overnight slots...
not happy, why can't they just leave things alone, it was working fine before their update! Back to customer services...
I take it no-one else is having this problem?

I have just switched to Agile and am having the exact same problem, seems to synchronise OK but only set charging periods for the current day, and today it hasn’t updated at all. Have things improved for you at all?
It also seems to have changed my Battery Reserve Capacity to 50% and I get a ‘Write failed’ message when I try and change it, so this will mean my system takes from the grid at peak time of my capacity hits 50%, not good, I’m hoping this is a temporary issue.

I know major effort is going into the new mode scheduler with better agile support. It might be worth disabling until the next big fox update comes out.

Hi Pat, nope, still the same for me - I'm setting the charging slots manually once the prices have come out after 16:00 each day - very frustrating!pat28wpa@sky.com wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 8:44 am I have just switched to Agile and am having the exact same problem, seems to synchronise OK but only set charging periods for the current day, and today it hasn’t updated at all. I'm not getting the 50% issue though, hope you get it sorted
