Does anywhere sell pre-made cables for HA? I have the WiFi adapter as per https://github.com/nathanmarlor/foxess_ ... Elfin-EW11 but just concerned about splicing usb power wires and connecting it up!
Alternatively, anyone in the Oxfordshire UK area done this and fancy earning some freddos/beer/compliments?!?!

Hello, I'm in Oxford and have done this on my AC1 5.0 with the usr-w610. If you don't want to mess with a USB cable you could simply get a 5V power supply, lots of them on Amazon, and connect to the 5V/GND pins. I found Cat6 Ethernet cable worked very well for the RS485 connection (USR is just next to the inverter but my two power meters are about 20m away), any twisted pair cable should work fine though.
I've ordered a USB cable as per Dave's earlier suggestion so aim to sort my Elfin-EW11A bit on Friday/next weekend.
