Short answer: To avoid clipping, ensure the battery is not at 100% and has room to charge from PV (DC).
TLDR:
In Self Use, the priority order is: House (AC), Battery (DC), Grid (AC)
In Feed-In priority is: House (AC), Grid (AC), Battery (DC)

Hi, sorry for delay.
The H1 G2 has served us very well. Not noticed any noise. Even when working at pace.
As it happens its in garage so its not something we'd notice if it did just occasionally.

Quite new to this.
I just had a look at the datasheet and it appears to say that although max PV input is 5500W, its over two strings. 2750W each.
