Hi. I have an LV5200 installed and am installing a second slave LV5200. I read that firmware updates are required for the two batteries to work together with my SOLIS Inverter. I emailed FOX service center, who appear to be in denial about this as they said nothing needs doing apart from plugging in the cables...
Any thoughts? Thank you
The LV5200 can only have their firmware upgraded by a Fox engineer on-site, but as I understand it as long as you set the Master with the newer firmware version the slave can be on an older version (it won’t work the other way round).
Thanks - I had an email today from Fox saying they will not support a software upgrade if I self install and that I can't add the latest LV5200 with a purple sticker to my existing LV5200.
What a pain - the only way to upgrade appears to be by having to buy the latest batteries, not cheap!
