Force Charging

Hi
I have a H1-3.7-E inverter and as from last night I have been unable to alter the Force Charge settings on my Fox by the Android version 2 app, the web pages and even via the on unit keypad. Has anyone else had this problem?
I get Error Code 44096 Unsupported function code.
Does anyone have a solution?
Regards
RedArrow

I've heard a few people have had this issue over the last few days - not sure if this helps but have you got any schedules set ?, you can't have schedules and charge periods running together at the same time - if you have schedules set, use the website to disable them and then set your charge periods.

This is usually the answer to this question

Make sure you have no schedules set, the charge periods do not work if you have any active schedules (including the agile integration)

Hi - Am getting a "40257, Parameters does not meet expectations" error on my Fox 2.0 APP. I am also not getting the force charge option on the foxcloud inverter details settings. I am concerned the battery will charge to 100% and then discharge to my EV in the charge window.

If you are trying to set the charge times in the V2 app they cannot cross midnight i.e. 23:30-05:30 is not allowed (although bizarrely it can be done in the V1 app).

Instead set charge period 1 to 23:30-23:59 and then charge period 2 to 00:00 to 05:30 (or use the Energy Stats app which will let you cross midnight)

Thanks - that seemed to accept it , but i have lost the "Force Charge" option. (It was there yesterday). I have an electric vehicle and want to avoid the battery charging it during the period 23.30 - 05.30 while i am drawing the lost cost energy.

Its not on the app or the Foxcloud website (unless i should be using a different url). I am a new customer and got this installed on Monday so apologies for any dumb questions

Ok the easiest way to do that using the V2 app is using the normal charge periods.

Open the app, 2/3rds of the way down the screen click on 'Quick Settings Here'

Make sure that your scheduler is disabled (it should say Mode Scheduler 'disabled'), if not disable it.

Then in the same menu click 'Charging Time', set the start and ends times you want - if you want the battery to charge at the same time as the car (you normally do) set 'charge from grid enabled' to on.

If you don't want to charge the battery (but stop it discharging) leave the 'Charge from grid' switch disabled

Then click submit - that should be that.

You can find a similar screen on the website but it's not the easiest to find it - go to the inverter details screen (which looks like the attached) - to get to mode scheduler click the item ringed in yellow, to get to the quick battery charge settings go to the item ringed in red.

Note you can't use scheduler and quick charge settings at the same time (it's one or the other)

Thank you, have made the settings and will trial it tonight with the EV charging. 👍🏼
