Afternoon all
:(
We have just had a Fox inverted installed with 14.4 kw of batteries but are having big issues at present.

Although the inverter has been set to charge the battery on E7, it hasn’t charged over the last two nights so that batteries are down to 9%

We’ve got 4Kw of solar on two strings and a ground source heat pump that pulls 3kw so nothing special.

My suspicion is that the inverter need setting up correctly

Any ideas please?

Hi, do you have a username and password which allows you to use the FoxESS app, or the foxesscloud.com website?.

You need to check your charge times have been set correctly to the current E7 start and end times.

Thanks for your reply

I’m struggling to access the fox network as it doesn’t recognise our kit / I think I’ll wait till tomorrow and then try again !

I have discovered that even tho the times for E7 had been set up, then hadn’t been enabled (EN) as they were sitting in DIS which I believe is disabled

Hopefully it’ll charge tonight !

Ahh ok, I didn’t want to send you off into the inverter settings until you had tried the app, but yes the charge period should be set to the time you want, and En means charge from grid.

It would look like this for charge period 1 set to 23:30 to 05:29 (charge from gird ‘En’abled)
