Hello,
Thank you for creating this forum. I also joined the Facebook group and have already had some great responses from Ian Tucker.
I had FoxESS energy cube batteries (5x2900 = 14500kW) and a 6kW hybrid inverter installed today—no solar at the moment.
The plan is to charge the batteries up during my off-peak Octopus Go Faster tariff from 21:35 to 02:25 and then discharge them during the peak period, thus cutting down my peak usage considerably.
I also have an EV.
I am also into Home Automation, a recent home assistant convert thanks to iameccles. In my various searches for information on FoxESS, I stumbled upon his YouTube channel talking about setting up FoxESS with a home assistant and loved the straightforward explanations. Now loving HA for all my lights, blinds, cat flap, and robot vacuum cleaner, and I can't wait to get rid of all the hubs.
I have many questions, and so happy this forum is here.
Thanks,
Mike
p.s. Here is my setup.
