Hi, Storage Inverter H1-3.7E
When the Inverter is charging during the period 00:00 to 00:05 will i be able to charge my EV at the same time with out causing any damage to my Inverter and Storage Battery?
Night Rate Tariff
Works for me yes.
I’m on Intelligent Octopus and I can fill my batteries up and charge the EV at the same time. The Fox app shows me drawing 9.5 KW from the grid whilst both are filling up at the same time.
We only fill our EV up once a week usually and I was a little apprehensive but no need.

Yes just make sure that you always have a Fox charge period set at the same time as the EV is charging.
If you set a Fox charge period but leave the charge from grid switched off, it won't charge your home battery but most importantly it won't allow the battery to discharge either and protects it from discharging into the EV.
