battery has gone offline
I have had solar panels for a long time, and I had a new inverter (H1-3.0-E-G2) and battery (EP5) installed about a year ago. It has been working fine, but about a week ago my battery went offline: it isn't charging or discharging and the inverter no longer appears to know it is there (is displaying "SoC N/A"). This coincided with a firmware/app upgrade, so I'm wondering if I just need to switch everything off and on again. Is there a correct order to do this in? I think I read somewhere else: turn off the battery, then isolate the panels, then turn off the A/C connection, wait a minute or two then turn things on in reverse order.
Re: battery has gone offline
Yes very likely the firmware upgrade has caused it, and your system needs a full shutdown / restart.

There is a video here that helps with that viewtopic.php?t=5

But essentially you need to turn off the PV (DC isolator), then turn off the AC isolator, then power off the batteries and open the battery DC isolator.
The inverter screen should go blank after approx 10 seconds - wait 10 seconds and reverse the process i.e. close the battery DC isolator, press the battery power button, then close the AC isolator and finally close the PV (DC isolator).
