Do batteries need regular deep discharging?
Over summer my EP12 is likely to never go below 50% charge. I've seen some people say of some batteries that you should let them go to 10% charge once a month to help them stay balanced and help the BMS maintain DOD.

Do I need to let my battery drain once a month? How is best to do that?

On the inverse, in winter how often should I make sure the battery hits 100%?
Re: Do batteries need regular deep discharging?
I think the general consensus is to drain to 10% at least once a month.
* Charge to 100% at least every week.

You would do this via mode advanced mode scheduling (via App / Website) and set time periods to achieve this.

* In Winter, I would do it daily, otherwise you may need to import at peak rate. So this is not for calibration, but for economic reasons.
