Export limit automatically changes to 1250W
I am writing to request assistance with my inverter settings. My inverter's export limit automatically resets to 1250W every day at 5:00 PM, and I am unsure why this is occurring.

I previously raised a support ticket (#99865) with Fox-ESS, but I have not received a response not sure what do next.
Re: Export limit automatically changes to 1250W
If you have given something like Amber remote control over your system, or some such, they could be controlling this value remotely.

If you are not signed up for these services, then do you have any scheduling set, if yes, can you post a screenshot for us?
Re: Export limit automatically changes to 1250W
I think the same thing. I was with Amber, then I moved out. I opened a support ticket with Amber, and they are terrible. Amber acknowledged the support ticket, but they are not even responding to me now.

I don't have schedules.

Foxess and Amber both not responding to me now

I am not sure how you unpair a system once it has been setup for remote control, have you rang Fox Support directly (seems best way in Australia) and have your Inverter Serial Number to hand.

I am wondering if there is a reset choice they can do if you are not able to unpair yourself.

I called Foxess support at 1300377369 multiple times, but no one answered the phone. I feel like I'm hitting a dead end.
Re: Export limit automatically changes to 1250W
Only thing I found on Google about possibly turning off Amber, but that might be an issue if you have "left" and they won't let you into your account.

If you'd like to disable SmartShift, you can do so from the Amber app (tap Settings → scroll down to 'Amber SmartShift', then tap View → then switch OFF 'SmartShift Automation' at the top of this page)

The only other option is that some Inverters, maybe all have a reset option in the installer menus, but I am not sure if this will remove the Amber association as I think this is controlled via the cloud. I suspect this won't do a great deal for fixing this.

Sorry to hear that Australian support is trash, not the first time we have heard this sadly.
Re: Export limit automatically changes to 1250W
My understanding is that Amber connects through the Foxcloud API, but I'm unsure how they obtain the API key. If I turn off the internet, nothing changes, which unfortunately leaves me in the dark since Foxcloud only works when the inverter is connected to the internet.
Re: Export limit automatically changes to 1250W
Here is where you can check if you have a Fox API key made, and if you do, then you can generate a new one that might kick Amber off. Check the video and let us know if you have a key existing or not please?
