Have “Generator” be the “PV”
Hi,

I had my system installed as a AC couple system.
My exisiting solar inverter and solar panels are acting as a “Generator” when looking at the app.
The new Fox 10kW hybrid inverter with the 41kW battery stack is separate.
Wondering if I can alter the setting to have the “Gen” be the “PV” that way I can get data recording and better use of the app functions overall.
I’ve added a photo of what I’m talking about when looking at the app.
Ask any questions.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Have “Generator” be the “PV”
Sadly not, the PV value is used when solar is directly connected to the inverter called DC Coupled. You have your solar inverted by another inverter and the fox system sees it's generation as AC only. known as AC-coupled. In the current designs it will only appear as GEN. At least for now but I can submit a feature request to make this adjustable and see if fox bite.

Re: Have “Generator” be the “PV”
No if the PV is not being generated by the hybrid it doesn’t have as much information from CT2 to provide that information - it will always show as Gen from an external source.

If you setup a home assistant - you can use the cloud version rather than having to wire up modbus, that will give you access to all the stats and allow you to build your own energy dashboard.
