Scheduling charging from grid on a specific DAY (as well as time period)
Hi.

Is there a way to specify the DAY(S) you want to charge from the grid, as well as the time period?

I'm on a Peak Saver tariff with British Gas where I get half price electricity on Sundays between 1100 & 1600.

The only thing I've found in the app is that you can specify the HOURS, but on its own is obviously no good to me...

TIA (and apologies in advance if I've somehow missed this setting somewhere along the line! 🤦🏿‍♂️)

Don't think it is possible via the app (I do think it would be a useful feature).

I run my system off home assistant via RS485/MODBUS, so I can do it that way.

I've never heard of RS485/MODBUS. Presumably, this requires some sort of professional installation & knowledge...? 🤔

It's this:

Basically needs a bit of wiring into the same connector that the CT clamp uses, going to an RS485 adaptor which home assistant can use to control the inverter. Doesn't need any professional assistance, but it does help to have an IT background since home assistant can have quite a steep learning curve otherwise.

It gives you essentially complete control over the inverter, and real-time monitoring.
