Again I have trouble with my inverter and haven’t had solar or battery available since around 16:15 hrs on 16/8/2025.
It started as a result of changing the mode schedular and the output dropped/ froze.
Tried power cycling the system ac dc battery and back on after 5 minutes and that seemed to make things worse as now it was saying mode off.
The last time this happened UK support logged in remotely and had to reset all the parameters.
Now I am lost as to why this is happening.
I need to get this back up and running and understand why.
I have turned off HA just in case but given its work flawlessly for a very long period of time before the first event and between the 1st event and this event yesterday afternoon, I am worried.
I have had more issues with Fox than the solis system done under fits and to be fair that had a new inverter a while back as it had some dubious behaviour and was only just inside its 1 year warranty.
Only had the fox system a couple of years and the list of issues some minor and these two events which I consider serious as left with no power from PV or the battery again.
I have no way of resetting this up, as this time it’s occurred at the weekend it could be several days before plots back up and running.
I need a way to reset the values if that’s what needs doing again so I don’t have to pester tech or try and get hold of original installer on a weekend.
Hoping someone from Fox can help with my support ticket asap.
But I also need to know why it occurred and how we stop it from happening again.
