Unable to set export limit on STAR-H3-12.0-E

On the inverter itself I tried to set the ExportLimit under Grid-Settings to 4000W and the display shows "Success", but does not save the setting.

I followed the Youtube video, entered the passcode, went to Grid -> ExportLimit and then used the enter keys and up/down to enter 4000W, confirmed and got the message "Success" and below an "Exit". When I click on Esc, I return to the ExportLimit mask and when I exit all the way and go back in, the ExportLimit is at "000000W". When I do not exit the "Success" screen after entering "0004000W", eventually the inverter goes to the home-screen and then checking it again it is back to "0".

What is wrong here?

Version_Master:2.11 / Version_Slave:1.03 / Version_ARM:1.85

Side question: How do I restart the inverter - the On/Off switch below the Inverter does not seem to do anything. The "Off" switch in the middle (see images here: viewtopic.php?p=7838#p7838) turns off the electricity entirely.

might be easiler to ask your installer to set the limit using the cloud portal for installers.

My installer is highly unreliable and not very pro-active. It would take several days to organise this, but in the mean-time I found in the new Cloud platform, that I can manually adjust it via the device settings.

Via https://www.foxesscloud.com/v2/plants/plant you can configure settings on the inverter:

I do hope that in the beta-platform users can do basic settings. As I said, my installer took now 5 days to respond to provide a setting change. This makes it impossible as an enduser to operate the device. I do not want full control, but i should be able to set export/import limits. (FWIW: My installer decided in the Peakshaving config to setup a 40000W import limit without notifying me - something I just found in the beta settings, otherwise I would have happily imported electricity).

yeh, I've suggested Fox make settings available via accepting a "I know what I'm doing" disclaimer. they've taken it under review to the product team.

Thank you. I suppose there is no way end-users can vote for such features?
