New Smart Meter

I had a new smart electricity meter (SMET2) installed yesterday. Immediately my Fox Cloud App started showing much higher load than normal. This has continued off and on and in between has shown energy being exported to the Grid from the load sometimes at as much as 7Kwh.. The load is currently showing at over 7Kwh when we have very little in the way of appliances active. The In-Home Display (IHD) provided with the new meter is currently saying that we are exporting 3.5Kwh to the Grid. Anybody have any idea what is going on?

It sounds as if the engineer has clipped the CT clamp on facing the wrong direction - either call them back or if you can locate the CT clamp which will be attached to the live feed from the smart meter to the house - you can unclip the CT clamp, rotate it so that it is facing the other direction (there is an arrow on one of the faces) and then close the clip.
