Hello all, I am trying to resolve a floating neutral problem when running off-grid, (H1AC1 6kw Inverter and 18kw of HV2600 batteries) I thought that the H1-AC1 had an internal N-E Bonding Relay, (Grounding setting?) but when I disconnect from the grid, I am getting a reading if 100v between N and E, and RCDs wouldn't operate, Do I need to install an external N-E bonding relay?
Also, I am looking at total grid disconnection and installing a backup generator for days when the batteries don';t get enough charge of the solar, is there a way to start the Generator and close the contactor when Batterues reach a certain SOC, and then open contactor and switch of genny when SOC reaches 95%?
I have a dedicated Home assistant system running from a raspberry PI connected to inverter, and wondered if I could trigger from this.
Many thanks
Kris
N-E Grounding & Backup Generator starting
I believe you need an earth spike connected to the P+E of the EPS plug for this to work.
