Self use in scheduler

I have just set up my forced discharge and charge times in schedule and enabled the schedule. Prior to changing to this I just forced charged out side of ther scheduleschedule which was disabled.... When using the shedule I noticed there was already a two schedule created one which was forced charge and the other was self-use. I changed the times on the on the force charged and then made the mistake of changing the other created session work mode to forced discharge. I have realised my mistake and although I haven,t been using the schedule I am now wondering if I need to use the work mode self-use. I do have solar and would like to recharge the batteries rather than export to the grid if any is accessable and only export to the gris once the batteries are full. Is it necessary to use this self use mode at any time.Sorry if this question has been raised lots of times before.Thank you.Best regards Dave

As a rule you don’t have to change the work mode back to Self Use after a schedule, it will default to that anyway.

The only time you might want to have a self use schedule is to switch the minsoc back to its normal value - for example you may have changed the minsoc in a schedule to 50% (rather than the default 10%), and when the schedule is finished it will revert to Self Use but will keep minsoc as 50%.
To fix that you would need to set a short schedule in self use mode with a minsoc of 10%.

Just to quickly mention with scheduler never overlap schedules they end at minute:59 and start at minute:00
So for example if you want to set 02:00-05:00 and then 05:00-16:00 set it as-
02:00-04:59
and
05:00-15:59
