battery won't self use or cant charge from grid

mode scheduler wont work for me i can get the batteries to self use but then cant charge from grid or i can charge from grid and the batteries wont self use.

A few observations on your settings,

FDPwr FDSoC are only used when force discharging for the rest of the actions set FDPwr = 0, and FDSoC = 10

The biggest problem is unlike charge periods which start and end at the time you set i.e. 02:00-03:00 would be 02:00:00 to 02:59:59 the scheduler would start at 02:00:00 and end at 03:00:59 - what that means is you have a number of scheduler overlaps.

Also Self Use workmode is implied when it is not running a schedule, it will return to Self Use automatically after the last schedule has completed.
The only thing to be mindful of is if you set minSoC to a higher number than normal in a schedule you must set it back afterwards as it will endure at the set value - but as you are not setting it to anything other than 10% you don’t need all the self use schedules.

Running through them in time sequence all you need to set are these:

02:00-04:59 Force Charge, MinSoC 10%, MaxSoC 100%, FDSoC 10%, FDPwr 0

13:00-15:59 Force Charge, MinSoC 10%, MaxSoC 100%, FDSoC 10%, FDPwr 0

i.e. 2 * Force Charge periods from 02:00:00-04:59:59 and 13:00:00-15:59:59

And it will return to Self Use as default after they have run with a MinSoC of 10%

hi firstly thank you very much for the reply and sorry for the late one from myself its my dads house and he's bad with these things, they just sent him out a dongle that didnt work i had to get in contact with fox to get the inverter/battery an update as it originally wasnt showing at all, since then first it was self using, then i activated charge from grid 2am to 5 am no other settings and it then wouldn't self use ( i didnt use mode scheduler at this point just the quick settings, this didnt work and it just charged from the grid constantly, i assumed when i turned this back off it would self use again but it wont and infact it just charges from the grid all the time, i then tryed the mode scheduler and still nothing and then tryed changing the times like you said and still nothing it just contstantly charges from the grid ive turned all charge settings off and again it just charges from the grid constant and wont self use, i triple checked the profile its using and it is indeed self use, the app also never displays any power going out of the battery even when it was self using at the very beginning, im hoping someone on here has the answers because ive never been so confused i find the website worse than the app and tryed changing the settings on there instead of the app and still no joy, not sure wether my dad should be getting legal advise and challenging the installation, company called eco renewables group but hes payed over 7k and is still just getting his electricity through the grid.

Is this a new install?, looking at the original images I can’t see any load being displayed - if you open the V2 app and scroll left - does that graph show any load (in red) or the stats at the top any load consumption.

If there’s nothing showing it appears as if the CT clamp has not been enabled in the inverters settings.
