Is it possible to go bigger than 33kWh with ECM/S4800

I have a system with 14.4kW panels, 1 x KH10, 1x CM4800 and 6x CS4800 providing 33kWh capacity. The manual dipswitch on the master unit would suggest that it is possible to add more batteries, but FOX ESS tech support confirm that the guidelines say that 33kWh is the maximum.

Is it possible to add more CS4800 batteries to the system?

If not, is there any other way to increase capacity (without upgrading the entire battery system to the newer EQS type?

According to their uk service director in March this year, the ECS batteries can be scaled to 1+8 batteries on the KH inverter (see image for the post that confirms it). But the ECS4800’s are now called the EQ4800 and I was told it is only the EQ4800 that scales to 9.

I’d send this post to Fox UK service and ask for them to confirm.

That's great thank you. I'll ping them this post and see what they say.

Thanks again.
