This is the first time I have used such a forum so I don't know what to expect. My experience over the last 6 weeks with a Fox system (two batteries, a few solar panels, an inverter and.....the foxesscloud V2.0 app) has been very mixed. I have a system that appears to work as intended (force charge overnight, self use of solar power etc) but the app is very confusing (eg no glossary of what the parameters are etc) and of dubious reliability. The app went off line over the weekend (it didn't say anything except requiring me to re-create my plant but it wouldn't find the inverter etc). This morning is started working again on its own, but the app seems to have lost the very control that I wanted to use over the weekend: to change the force charging times. This is not the first time that the app has failed and caused me to run around looking to see what was wrong (resetting wifis all round etc) to no avail for a couple of hours.
I want to be able to control my system and rely on the settings to be maintained until I choose to set them again. The App gives me exactly zero confidence in this and it is wrecking the credibility of the whole thing. My installers skate around the issue and don't get to grips with the problem, perhaps because they also depend on this Beta rubbish (I hope only the app and not the hardware) that Fox have sold them. I would not have followed the recommendation of the installers and used Fox if I knew all of this sooner.
If I am to make sense and not lose a lot of money on this system, clearly I need to fix the issues myself. As a non-geek, this is difficult however: if I stop all external control and communication with the inverter (eg by removing the wifi dongle) can I still programme the inverter locally using its front panel and not invalidate guarantees? Or is there an alternate non-cloud V2.0 app that is robust that I can use instead?

There is a community made app called Energy Stats which a forum memory develops which you might want to try. Ultimately there is a small learning curve but it should be set and forget really. Any issues remaining feel free to share and we can try to help you.
