Yes, we have a wired Chint bi-directional smart meter with its own CT inside the EPS gateway (we have whole house backup)
I have re-terminated the cabling between it and the inverter as the idiot (sorry, fully qualified electrician who knows far more than me  ) use two paralleled pairs (the whi & whi/blu and ora & whi/ora) to connect between the gateway and the inverter.....yes I am aware that electrically it will work but doing that totally defeats the point of using twisted pair! ....just in case anyone is unsure, twisted pair is used to eliminate noise and interference as any noise is induced into both wires but out of phase so it cancels out, two parallel wires will pick up noise like a radio aerial :geek:

It's happening so often now I made this up to get to the reset setting quicker

Hi

I am surprised it lets you keep doing this. Ours returns "failure" after a few successful resets.

Our inverter is a Fox ESS 6KW Hybrid Inverter H1-6.0-E-G2-WL in G99_UK mode.

Did you manage to read the error log to see what error is triggering your g100 s3?

I have asked the installers to ground the foil screen of the cable when they get round to installing it - it is in a trench quite close to the garage ring main cable, so would be vulnerable to picking up mains voltage in common-mode (due to capacitive coupling). I think RS485 should be good for up to 7V of common-mode , but don't want to test it.
The twisted pairs wont help with common-mode noise (they prevent differential mode noise caused by magnetic fields, as each twist is the opposite polarity to the prior).

The error log was blank ...but that MAY have been after I reset it, its happened so many damned times I cant be sure!
At least now I can reset the G100 problem without clearing the error log.....

it does seem that the grid voltage is going above 253V for short periods... I found the Vac 10 min average setting but it is disabled and I cant seem to change it....also found these settings...are they correct ?
