albie999 wrote: Wed Jan 14, 2026 9:23 am Interesting as you can see from screenshots, the min and max temps have increased
Can you test for us all please, if the start and end point have ANY form of logic testing.
What I mean in simple English, is can you set a start point of say 12°C for top setting. And will the stupid software let you set end point on the bottom as 10°C?

If it does accept this, then you might need to screenshot and send this back to get them to fix if this bug exists.

Not quite sure I understand (me being thick) but thought the top temperature was indicating at what temperature the heater is supposed to kick in (below 9c) and the bottom temperature when it switches off the heater when it's reached that temperature (15c)?

I can see in your new picture that the end points have changed

The top starting temperature you maybe have set like mine is, so 9°C and end point at 15°C
I was wondering if their code is so stupid that you can set a start temperature of say 12°C and end as 10°C which is lower.

It should do a test to see if the end point is lower than the start point and reject it, but as this is Fox.... see if it accepts min 12°C and max as 10°C if you can, save and exit app, open and check values. If it takes those stupid values, screenshot and share please, and send it off to Fox also if you can :D

To answer your question, it seemed that it took the request and gave me a "success"

Well damn  that's a simple enough bug to see
Thank you for testing it.

So far .. not seeing allgood results, as per screenshots below ..... it does seem like the battery is "discharging" with the heater enabled in the app ... however, it does not seem to be actually heating the battery

The increase is temp ... is when I was pulling from the battery .... tumble drier etc ..... but since the high load dropped off .. you can see the battery is cooling

They are not testing things very well, as you answered above in my quirky test of setting end heater value lower than the start.

Self-use of the SoC when the battery is cold seems to not work, and something they are not getting.
Remember to put a cushion on forehead for when you bang head into the wall.

Taken from Foxessuk's own video channel

3:45 available it may be it may be at night
3:46 of course when you hit these low
3:47 temperatures anyway so there may not be
3:49 any PV it will self consume some of
3:51 its own power to keep itself warm but it
3:53 would also if needs if it needs to take
3:55 from grid um in order to warm the
3:58 battery now
4:01 for the most part people activate this
4:03 option will do it midnight to midnight

3m 45s in roughly
