Hello & Welcome,
Nice system, just wondering why you didn't go for a battery system with so many panels?
Thanks,
Will

Re: Bms Ext Fault
I wouldn't poll faster than every 10 seconds if you suspect you're overloading the inverter coms. I know there were some situations during HA testing where it was possible to crash the inverter. Then again Battery offline might mean that the cloud is just offline.

Re: When a blackout occurs what happens?
Sounds like you're manually turning on your EPS as you isolate the grid during a power cut.
Lots of good detail on the dedicated EPS topic here viewtopic.php?t=52

I'm pretty sure the manual will be the same. The battery works in the same way, same wiring, same internals. Just a slightly different coms chip.

Re: Balancing several batteries
Have you tried a full empty to full cycle and restart the inverter when the battery is full and make sure the voltage and SOC are showing correctly?

How to check and set the CT setting
Notice your house load is showing zero and the battery not discharging. It's likely your CT setting has been reset.
Here is how to set it back up again.

Re: First year of solar power. Is my November normal or does my system have a problem?
sadly winter cloud cover and lower light levels has a serious impact. I can generate 70-80kWh of solar during a day in July and on the worst day in the winter only 5kWh on a darker day. Hope this puts you at ease.

Likely means the foxess inverter has lost power. check the trip switches and make sure it's sized correctly. Normally a 32amp for a 5kW.

Re: Hello from Shropshire
I tend to go with a 5kW as standard because most ovens are 3kW and you'll find for most homes you'll be dipping into the grid a lot vs a 5kW inverter supporting a larger 5kW continuous discharge rate. Again not a massive issue but I'm interested why installer downsize the inverters so often when the...

Force charging tripping circuit breakers
FoxESS Hybird and AC inverters using high voltage batteries will be charge/discharge limited in one of two ways: 1. there is a 35 amp DC charge/discharge limit or 2. by the size of the inverter normally 3.7, 5 or 6 kW. In the UK it's recommended that a 3.7kW inverter uses a 20amp circuit breaker or ...

If you're not using them in the AIO I would only stack them hozionally. Unless you have a use case not yet discussed?
