The battery will always be used to fill the gap of solar unless you have charge period set and grid charge switch set off
I have charge period set and grid charge on.
I feel that allowing battery to, as You nicely phrased, "fill the gap" as long as SoC stays above Max SoC even during charge ...

Use battery as a buffer even during charging period
Hello,
so far I noticed behaviour during charging window:
- if Force charge / Charge from grid is enabled and there is not enough sun to reach Max charging current , inverter will draw power from the grid to charge up to Max SoC
- if Max SoC is reached and still there is some sun, it always ...

Re: H3 Hybrid Inverter MODBUS Protocol
If I understand things correctly:
Load is power consumed by the house, should always be positive and is not measured but calculated as sum of those two:
- Meter is measured at grid - home installation joint; negative -> export to the grid
- Inverter Power is power of inverter's "On Grid" inlet ...

Re: Strange battery discharge
I noticed something very similar and am happy to find this thread when searching for the solution.
Some time ago I called my installer qith question:
"why, when battery reaches Min SoC [15%], does inverter display -130W instead of -15W [expected standby power]?"
He justified that this display in ...
