Hi Guys,
I was looking to do Home Assistant Modbus, I've already ran an ethernet cable up there, but now when i went to plug in, i can't find which port it goes into.
I think the BMS is in the port my ethernet needs to go into, so i unplugged it and enabled DHCP on the inventor, then it complained that it lost the BMS?

Please can someone help me.
Josh
Where is ethernet port, i've got 3?
You've connected to the BMS port, which is why the inverter threw that error.
Have a read of this https://github.com/nathanmarlor/foxess_ ... o-Inverter - bear in mind that not all of these inverters actually have the ethernet port. If yours doesn't, you'll want to look into a Modbus interface. There's info about all of this in the wiki linked above as well. That said, going via the serial connection gives you a much more useful setup so is recommended even if your inverter does have an available ethernet port.
