Hi. I have changed broadband provider so have to updae the connection at the dongle. I have connected to the WiFi of the dongle but it won't open the page when I put the ip address in.

Just won't load . Using 192.168.1.1

Thanks

You need to connect firstly to the wifi dongles own wifi, the ssid is something like W-XXXXXXX once connected to that go to your browser and enter 192.168.1.1

I've found it a bit hit and miss on mobile devices as they don't like connecting to something that doesn't have internet and fall back to the nearest known internet wifi signal - if you are having trouble try with a different device phone / tablet.

The connection guide is at step 3 here -

Your browser may be defaulting to an https:// connection. You may need to type in http://192.168.1.1 - note no "s".

(https:// denotes that the browser and host should try to negotiate a secure connection, but lots of devices like the dongle on the inverter aren't set up to do this, particularly when we're talking about set up interfaces that are rarely used. If a browser asks for https and the host can't provide it, the connection fails and nothing loads)
