Thanks for adding me to the forum.

I'm looking into adding an additional 1 or 2 batteries to my system, and trying to find out how easy it would be to do this myself.

My current system is
Trina 410W Panel x16
Fox Ess Mira 2.5kWh Battery Storage x2
Fox 3.6kW Hybrid Inverter

If you are practically minded or have a bit of electrical experience it is straight forward enough.

The only things to look out for are to make sure when you buy batteries, that you get the mounting brackets with them, if you add a lot of batteries (so you have more than 4) you will need a cable extension kit which provides a 1 metre long cable for the long return.
Make sure the rotary dip switch is set to the correct number, and that the communication cables (RS485) go from the right hand connector to the left hand connector of the next battery in line and make sure that earthing cable links are connected.

Finally you will need to make sure longer term that the firmware on all batteries is the same, this is easy to do by email to foxess support who can check and update them remotely for you.
