Hi, i’ve move into a new house with Fox Ess solar, i’ve tried registering on the app but can’t get pass stage2.
it doesn’t recognise the wi-fi dongle.
any ideas?

I’m not sure which stage 2 you are stuck at, you’ve got the connection of the inverters wifi dongle (datalogger) to you router (that needs you to log into the wifi dongle and set your SSID and password), then you have to install the app and register your datalogger to your app.

I’ve added the wifi dongle connection, and you should start that from step 3 - once the dongle is connected the red light will flash slowly with an occasional green flash (flashing red rapidly means the dongle isn;’t connected to wifi).

If the inverter is already registered to another user, it will complain when you try and associate the datalogger serial number with your app - if you still know the installer they should be able to correct that for you - if not you will need to contact Foxess support and explain you have moved in and ask them to re-allocate the inverter to you service.uk@fox-ess.com or raise a ticket at https://support.fox-ess.com/portal/en/n ... 0000564485
