Hi all,

I would like to understand how to use the work model for the battery unit.
It is now defined as 'self-use', where I want to maximize use of PV voltage to charge the battery.
Minimize load from the grid, and use battery when energy is required in the house.

When the battery needs charging, when there is not enough PV load, I want it to load from the grid during the night, not during the day.
How to configure the battery to work like this?

I notice that it uses the grid to load the battery during the day, when its not 100% charged.
But the PV voltage rises during the day, so I dont want grid usage to charge the battery during the day.

Could someone help me with this?

Kind regards,
Nathalie

You will want to look at the charge periods that have been set up for your inverter (either on the app, the website, or the front panel of the inverter itself) and see what they are. It maybe there is a charge period set up during the day. You can change these to only charge overnight from the grid.
