Hello all

Thanks for having me. I've just had a Fox Ess H1 AC1 inverter and a couple of Energy Cubes along with an array of 10 x 395w cells on the roof. I've got a couple of questions. Well, actually I've got tens of questions but I'll try and hold some of them back for now. The most urgent for me I am hoping you can help with

1. Has anyone had experience of the batteries or inverter interfering with home wifi or homeplug networks? My BT master socket and router are about 2 metres from the inverter in the garage. The router itself is not emanating a wifi network. Instead the router is wired to a nearby homeplug in a double socket (also near the inverter). There are then non-wifi homeplugs dotted around the house, and also a mesh wifi system plugged into one of the homeplugs. Since the rig was installed, the mesh wifi units drop connections from my devices every couple hours, with the 'lost connection' lights flashing on the mesh units (They are TP Link Deco units). devices cabled into the homeplugs via ethernet are also losing connection, although not as often as the mesh wifi. At first I thought it was interference from the wifi dongle that came with the inverter, but i have left that unplugged now for 24 hours and the drop outs are still happening. After about 10 minutes everything comes right. But its really not something i can live with

2. Is there a guide anywhere to help me understand the information available on the screen on the inverter? The manual doesn't explain any of it and I guess just assumes knowledge. i understand the basic principles but that all I am sorry to say. I am a quick learner, but i need some source material to absorb.

Thanks all

reverend

While you'll get some EMF from the inverter I've not seen it interfere with routers.

I'll make a video on the H1 screen as this is a common ask. I'll let you know when I publish it.
