How do I track “Gen Load”?

Hi all,

I have an Evo 10 AIO battery system, but my solar panels are connected to their own separate inverter. As a result, the energy feeding into the Evo 10 is shown as “Gen Load” rather than “Solar.”

Does anyone know how I can track how much energy I’m actually producing? From what I can see, the app only tracks and trends “Solar” and not “Gen Load.” I’d really like to be able to monitor my Gen Load production in some way.

Any advice or workarounds would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

The Fox clodu takes gen load into account to calculate the house load and to work out excess solar so that it can charge the batteries, but it does not maintain statistics on the gen load as this is external to the Fox system.

You can go down the rabbit hole of a home assistant which is basically a small micro computer that gathers the statistics and you can manage and maintain them there but you will need some basic programming skills to do that.
