New to all this, with likely daft question

Yesterday, here in West Sussex UK I had eight Demeg 515w panels installed on our west facing roof.
Connected to a Fox ESS 5KWH single phase inverter and Fox EB6 5kwh battery.
Today the array is in full sun but only generating 1.9kw.
Shouldn't we be seeing much nearer to the 4.2kw coming from the array.
I'll try and attach the app screen shot here.
Many thanks
Mike

Not the easiest to reply without roof pitch, layout etc.. - but as a general rule i’d say elevation, elevation, elevation…. The lower the elevation the less irradiance hits your panels.
At this late stage of the year the maximum suns elevation is ~25 degrees (compared to > 60 degrees in summer), and so by the time a west facing array is receiving full sun, the elevation is low. My west facing array is down to less than 50% of it’s summer power, and falling by the day, by December it will only be the clearest of days and 2pm ish where the power is marginal.

I'm in East Sussex near Eastbourne.
My WNW Array is getting max around 9kW a day in October with 1 hour between 1-2pm getting 1.8kW whereas peak in summer was near max at 3.58 kW at 1-2pm.
Totally normal for this time of year.

Thanks both, that makes good sense.
