Mystery 37% max SoC

Hi All,

I've been having some odd results when force-charging. During one session it was refusing to charge from the grid and a second session saw it charge just for a few minutes and stop. Last night the reason was revealed - it seems to have a max SoC of 37% set somewhere.

I've looked at the Mode Scheduler in the app, and on both V1 and V2 of the online FoxCloud - all of which state a max SoC during the grid force-charge as being 60%.

Any ideas where it's picking the 37% up from? I've gone into the app and Cloud and changed the SoC settings to different values, and it says that the changes have been successfully saved - but still the 37% limit persists!

Ideas appreciated.

Thanks,

James S.

Hi James,

If you cannot see where the 37% is coming from, and you aren't using a tariff (VPP type) that is having external control over your system, then the firmware may have crashed.

Sounds like you need to reboot, and after doing this, you may want to verify directly on the inverter itself, what limits are set.

Let me know if you are needing help with this.

Hi,

Thanks for speedy suggestion.

I'll reboot tonight and see how that goes...
