Fox App

I am brand new to my Fox inverter and of course the app.my battery was installed by Octopus 🐙 a week ago after a delay of 3 weeks it was commissioned and a WiFi booster added as the original problem had been a weak signal for the inverter. The app was set up by the installer Octopus and for 5 days all was well. On Saturday the app asked for log in even though I’d not logged out and it’s taken 3 days to find out what the username is because my installer hadn’t given it to me. Now I’ve managed to get back on the app but no data nothing showing just nil 0 on all of it. I understand that the data is still on cloud ☁️ but to be honest that’s no good to me I need to see it. It appears to me that this app is not actually very good even if it lost the WiFi briefly why can’t it remember the data once logged back in?? I’m waiting for Octopus to get back to me because after originally speaking to Fox C/service and sending numerous emails I’m no further forward A I can’t understand a word they’re saying as they sound as if speaking from the moon and B they don’t seem to begin to realise that a £5000 green device needs a help line that gives help !!! Any suggestions would be appreciated as I’m loosing faith tbh Liz

Octopus should be able to view and resolve most common issues remotely via the fox cloud. Worst case a shutdown and restart might be a good next step.

Thank you for this however this actually shouldn’t be happening! If I buy something from Amazon and it doesn’t work I send it back it’s replaced or I get my money back in this case a £5000 green energy device which is what we’re all told to buy is not adequate if I can’t see what my device is doing .. if it’s working and how much electricity I’m saving ect. Octopus are excellent and are trying to find the answers but Fox make the product and I have no idea if the product is doing what it says it should because of a truly inferior app.
